Today, Mustafa is the founder of ROAR For Good, a company that makes self-defense wearable technology to diminish attacks against women. She was born with a certain set of traits - traits that would have put her on a trajectory similar to her mother. Both her parents are Palestinian, though Mustafa spent the first eight years of her life in Kuwait. She met Mustafa’s father three days before her wedding.
